Desert Rivers Audubon Helps Lucy’s Warblers 
Desert Rivers offered seven Lucy’s Warbler nest containers to the Marriott’s Camelback Golf Membership in Scottsdale this spring.  The containers have the triangle design confirmed efficient by Tucson Hen Alliance and have been numbered and positioned on mesquite timber across the riparian habitat, out of golfers’ approach. Within the fall, Desert Rivers will observe up with the golf membership to decide if the containers have been used and to wash out any that have been. Lucy’s Warblers are in inhabitants decline and listed as a Species of Conservation Concern by Arizona Sport and Fish – primarily because of the lack of out there nesting websites, which happens mostly in dense mesquite bosques alongside main waterways.
